“—” means the Army table lists no distinct threshold for that point value — your score is the highest listed point value whose threshold you meet or beat. Source: U.S. Army “Army Fitness Test Score Tables” (approved 1 May 2025, effective 1 June 2025). Official PDF.
How to read the AFT score chart
Each event is scored from 0 to 100 points. Find your point value in the left column, then read across to the performance that earns it. For the deadlift and push-ups, higher is better — the number shown is the least you need for that score. For the sprint-drag-carry, plank, and 2-mile run, the time shown is the slowest you can go and still earn that score.
You must score at least 60 points in every single event to pass. Rows highlighted in gold mark the 60-point minimum and the 100-point maximum.
AFT score chart FAQs
What is a good AFT score?
300 is the minimum to pass under the general standard, with at least 60 points in every event. 350 is the minimum under the combat standard. Anything above 450 is excellent — 500 is a perfect score.
How many points is a 15:30 2-mile run?
It depends on your age and sex — for a 22–26-year-old man it is 90 points. Select the 2-Mile Run tab above, pick your age group and sex, and find your exact time.
What deadlift do I need to pass the AFT?
You need 60 points in the deadlift — for example, 150 lb for men 17–21 and 120 lb for women 17–21. Open the 3RM Deadlift tab above for your exact age group.
Are AFT scores different for men and women?
Yes. Every event is scored on separate male and female scales across ten age groups — except under the combat standard, which uses one sex-neutral scale. Toggle Male or Female above to switch.
Did the AFT score chart change in 2026?
No. The scoring tables are unchanged since they took effect on 1 June 2025. What changed in 2026 is enforcement timing for the combat standard and a new waist-to-height body-composition standard replacing the tape test.
